Mom’s Gluten-free Tomato Sauce

Mom’s tomato sauce

1 small onion finely chopped

1 tbsp garlic finely chopped

1 Tbsp oil

Saute this all together.

Add:

1 (14.5 oz) can of Gluten Free diced tomatoes (we like Muir Glen brand)

1 (14.5 oz) can of Gluten Free tomato sauce

2 Tbsp sugar

1 Tbsp oregano

1 Tbsp basil

1 bay leaf

salt and pepper to taste

Stir and simmer for at least 30 minutes so flavors have a chance to blend. Taste and add seasonings or sugar to your liking.

This is a very easy recipe and it can be used in my Dads Gluten-free  Eggplant Parmesan! Hope y’all enjoy it! 🙂
